ABOUT ME

I am a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the École centrale school of Engineering, Mahindra University (previously known as mahindra École centrale), Hyderabad, India

My research is in the area of theoretical solid mechanics. Some topics are elasticity theory, metamaterials, dynamic fracture and friction, wave propagation, computational mechanics, high performance computing and earthquake dynamics.

My group's recent work is supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India and the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), India.

I am looking for motivated Ph.D. students and postdocs in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Physics. Get in touch if you are interested!
